Show why this honey is different
Honey on a shelf all looks the same. The site had to tell the story of the process so people feel the difference before buying, and lead them quickly to an order.
A moving story and a simple shop
One bee flying through the whole page and a clear honey colour scale. Then varieties, a bloom calendar and a cart.
- Name, mark and a warm honey palette from scratch
- Bee animation driven by scrolling
- Shop with six varieties and a Pfund colour scale
- Bloom calendar, cart and checkout
Colour and type
Honey yellow, wax and a dark buckwheat tone. The serif adds warmth, and the mono type keeps numbers in order: moisture, temperature, price.
#F4B520#D98E0F#FFF7DF#FBE9B4#4E6B2C#2A1709An expressive serif with the feel of a printed label.
A clean grotesque for descriptions and buttons.
Mono type for temperature, weight and prices.
A bee that leads
One flight through three scenes: flower, comb, jar. Frames change as you scroll, so the page feels like a short film.

Nectar becomes honey
The bee lands on a linden blossom, and the journey of the honey begins.

The bee decides when honey is ready
Cells are sealed with wax only when the honey has matured.

From comb to glass
Honey runs off the frame by itself, with no heating. That keeps the linden aroma.
Six varieties
Varieties follow the Pfund scale: from clear acacia to almost black buckwheat. Colour hints at taste, so choosing is easy.

Tablet and phone
